About Us
Founded in 1998 by Brahmasri Dr. Goruganthu B Narayana and Smt. Goruganthu Uma Jayasree, Sri Radha Krishna Sangeeta Nrutya Kalakshetra is a premier institution for Indian classical arts. With disciplines spanning Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Carnatic vocals, and Veena, the Kalakshetra has nurtured hundreds of students and staged 1,000+ performances across India and abroad.
From curating original ballets and conducting global workshops to completing the monumental Sampoorna Bharat Yatra—a 90-day cultural journey across 30 states—the institution blends tradition with innovation. Under the artistic direction of Kumari Goruganthu Lakshmi Deepika, the Kalakshetra continues to inspire, educate, and preserve India’s rich cultural legacy.
