I grew up breathing rhythm and expression — every step I take on stage is a tribute to the legacy that shaped me.
Torchbearer and Artistic Director
Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Veena, Carnatic Vocals
A prodigious talent and the heir to a rich artistic legacy, Kumari. Goruganthu Lakshmi Deepika represents the next generation of classical brilliance at Sri Radha Krishna Sangeeta Nrutya Kalakshetra. Born into a family of maestros, she has inherited not only the artistic prowess of her parents but also their visionary spirit. Trained rigorously in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Carnatic vocals, and the Veena from a young age, Lakshmi Deepika has blossomed into an award-winning performer and an inspiring teacher.
She holds several accolades for her solo and group performances at prestigious platforms across India and abroad. Her stage presence is marked by technical command, aesthetic finesse, and spiritual intensity—qualities that leave lasting impressions on audiences. Deepika has also played a vital role in conceptualizing and executing major dance ballets, thematic presentations, and educational workshops for aspiring artists.
Her Guinness World Record for participation in mass classical performances, along with titles from national and international cultural institutions, showcases her commitment to both individual excellence and collective representation of Indian arts. As the Artistic Director, she infuses the Kalakshetra with fresh perspectives, ensuring it remains relevant while rooted in tradition.
One of Dr. Narayana’s most impactful contributions to Indian cultural outreach is the Sampoorna Bharat Yatra—a nationwide cultural pilgrimage that takes Indian classical music, dance, and dharmic teachings to every corner of the country. Through this program, he has led hundreds of students and performers on a journey that covers temples, heritage towns, spiritual centers, and cultural institutions across India.
The Yatra is not just a travel experience but a spiritual and educational odyssey—designed to immerse participants in the living traditions of India. It features live performances, heritage lectures, bhakti sessions, and collaborative engagements with local artists and scholars. By connecting with the roots of Bharatiya culture through practice and performance, the Sampoorna Bharat Yatra exemplifies Dr. Narayana’s vision of cultural revivalism rooted in experiential learning and national unity.
Sri Radhakrishna Kalakshetra, established in 1998, is a premier institute dedicated to preserving and promoting Indian classical dance and music through disciplined training, cultural programs, and global performances.
