Art is not mere expression; it is the soul of Sanātana Dharma. When we preserve our music, dance, and scriptures, we are not just keeping tradition alive—we are protecting the very heartbeat of our culture.
Founder & Chairman
Bharatanatyam, Carnatic Vocals, Veena
A scholar of rare distinction and a cultural visionary, Brahmasri Dr. Goruganthu B Narayana is the founding force behind Sri Radha Krishna Sangeeta Nrutya Kalakshetra. An accomplished Bharatanatyam artist, Carnatic vocalist, and Veena exponent, he is also a revered Pravachanakartha and Harikatha performer. His life’s work has been devoted to preserving and propagating India’s classical art forms, Vedic wisdom, and cultural literature. As a teacher, performer, orator, and philosopher, Dr. Narayana has laid the artistic and spiritual foundation upon which the Kalakshetra thrives.
His Harikathas and pravachanams—rooted in scriptural authenticity, emotional intensity, and poetic beauty—have inspired thousands across India. His gift for weaving music, narrative, and moral teachings has elevated the appeal of traditional Indian art forms, especially among younger generations. A prolific composer and lyricist, he has contributed several original kritis and classical ballets that enrich the Kalakshetra’s repertoire.
Dr. Narayana is also widely respected for his humble guidance, having mentored generations of students not only in the technical nuances of Bharatanatyam, music, and veena but also in ethical living and spiritual discipline. His initiatives, including cultural yatras, music festivals, and religious discourses, have nurtured a pan-Indian appreciation for Sanatana Dharma and classical aesthetics.
His legacy continues to shape the institution’s mission—integrating Samskruti (culture), Sangeetam (music), and Sadhana (spiritual discipline) in a cohesive, meaningful way.
One of Dr. Narayana’s most impactful contributions to Indian cultural outreach is the Sampoorna Bharat Yatra—a nationwide cultural pilgrimage that takes Indian classical music, dance, and dharmic teachings to every corner of the country. Through this program, he has led hundreds of students and performers on a journey that covers temples, heritage towns, spiritual centers, and cultural institutions across India.
The Yatra is not just a travel experience but a spiritual and educational odyssey—designed to immerse participants in the living traditions of India. It features live performances, heritage lectures, bhakti sessions, and collaborative engagements with local artists and scholars. By connecting with the roots of Bharatiya culture through practice and performance, the Sampoorna Bharat Yatra exemplifies Dr. Narayana’s vision of cultural revivalism rooted in experiential learning and national unity.
Sri Radhakrishna Kalakshetra, established in 1998, is a premier institute dedicated to preserving and promoting Indian classical dance and music through disciplined training, cultural programs, and global performances.
